Orpat Group strongly supports social responsibilities and believe it must be able to give back to the society at large. Apart from that, it also encourages various social causes for the betterment of the nation. Orpat, being a socially responsible company is actively involved in many activities.

Orpat is also an active participant of the initiative of ‘Green Movement’, an act to promote a greener and cleaner earth. Another striking feature at Orpat is, this remains to be one of the very few organizations hosting 90 per cent of female employees. This is deemed as the best example of Social Responsibility shown by the company.
ORPAT started “ORPAT Charitable Trust” in the year of 1993 for betterment of all those who have directly or indirectly contributed towards making a success journey at ORPAT Group. ORPAT Trust is involved in below activities since years and has actively participated in many projects to save & conserve water and hence helping agricultural growth and development.
Water Irrigation: Under this plan, a land area of 6240 hectares across 10 villages is to be irrigated. This is possible due to proper planning, hard work and optimal efforts of the villagers and dedicated workers and above all the oversight of Shri O. R. Patel. This has increased water levels in the wells 30% to 40% increase in the agricultural produce.
Afforestation: Our dedicated team members are working hard to plant and grow more trees on the land inspite of difficulties being faced due to irregular rainfall and frequent drought. We are committed and continuously working towards making land greener than ever.
Animal Husbandry: We have set up 14 Treatment Camps for animals along with 800 centres for animal fodder and water reservoirs for livestock.
Training: Intense training sessions are provided right from working methodology to sizing and design which will ultimately benefit the consumer. Women Self Help Groups are given training for animal husbandry, household industries and for bakery production techniques. Shri O. R. Patel provides strategic guidance and organizational skills to the chiefs, secretaries and other office bearers of various committees.
Organization: It is the foundation of any development scheme and its acceptances is the key to success. In total of 45 meetings at village level, 10 awareness camps and 3 conventions for farmers have been organized until now.
